Wishes many years of healthy, happy retirement for Mrs. Beason

Mrs. Joyce M. Beason retired recently as executive director of the Senior Centers of Cherokee County after 35 years of dedicated service to the agency.

The board of directors of the agency recently voted to employ Mrs. Joan Wood, the previous senior centers manager, as the new executive director. Mrs. Wood has assisted Mrs. Beason in the outstanding growth and development of the center for the past several years.

On behalf of the board of directors I would like to wish Mrs. Beason many years of healthy and happy retirement and thank her again for the leadership she provided and the success she attained as executive director.

We would also like to wish for Mrs. Wood many years of successful leadership and pledge to her our complete support as she continues to move the centers in a positive direction through growth and development.
