Tommy Sarratt Sr.

SPARTANBURG - Tommy Sarratt Sr., 57, of 176 Gordon Drive, died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2008, in Spartan- burg Regional Medical Center.

Husband of Jennifer Harris Sarratt, he was born in Gaffney, a son of the late Willie Sarratt and Janie Dawkins Sarratt. He was a member of Concord Baptist Church.

Also surviving are a son, Tommy Sarratt Jr. of the home; a daughter, Angela S. Grayson (Christopher) of Taylors; two brothers, Willie Dean Sarratt (Mae Frances) of Gaffney; Lee N. Sarratt of Linden, N.J.; four sisters, Gladys S. Lowe of Suitland, Md., Mary Means (Willie) of Cowpens, Cynthia S. Landrum of Inman and Viola L. Mathis (Theo) of Boiling Springs; two grandchildren, Jaelan C. Sarratt of the home and Amyiah Sarratt of Taylors; three aunts, Gerutha Sarratt and Viola Burris of Gaffney, Susan Corry (A.V.) of Shelby; and uncle, William Peeler (Ethel) of Gaffney.

Services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Bunton Institutional C.M.E. Church, conducted by the Rev. A.L. Parham.
