Tony Sarratt
Spartanburg native
COWPENS - Charles Tony Sarratt, 45, of Cowpens, died Monday, January 14, 2008, at his home of natural causes.

Born July 19, 1962, in Spartan- burg, he was the son of the late James Walter "Chuck" Sarratt Sr. and Peggy Alice Dearybury Sarratt. He was a graduate of Broome High School, a member of First Baptist Church of Cowpens, and had attended Mountain View Baptist Church.

Survivors include his twin sister, Tonette Lavender, and sisters, Pam Evans and her husband, Donnie Evans, and Sandra Duggins and her husband Les Duggins Sr., all of Cowpens; a brother, Jim Sarratt of Cowpens; a daughter, Megan Wright of Chesnee; a grandson, Caden Roper of Chesnee; four nephews, Jon Paul Duggins, Les Duggins Jr., Dustin Evans, and Jamie Evans; a niece, Brooke Lavender; and a great-nephew, Finley Duggins.

Graveside services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Daniel Morgan Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Steven Griffith. The family will receive friends at the graveside following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Luke's Free Medical Clinic, P. O. Box 3466, Spartanburg, S.C. 29304.

The family is at the home of Sandra and Les Duggins, 121 W. Church St., Cowpens.
