By LARRY HILLIARD Ledger Sports Editor larry@gaffneyledger.com

The Limestone College wrestling team took the old sport's adage 'it's not how you start but how you finish' to heart on Thursday.

The Saints dropped the first three matches but rallied to post wins in the last four to down visiting Belmont Abbey, 23-15.

Trailing 15-6 after Casey Bradley's decision loss at 165 lbs., Joby Schreckhise reversed the momentum with a narrow 9-8 decision over Belmont Abbey's David Hoggard. Limestone's Dan Scanlan followed up with a pin over Joseph Kent in the 184 lb. weight class.

David Bush recorded a 10-0 major decision to put the Saints on top 19-15.

Heavyweight Trey Moss closed out the string of Limestone wins with a 10-2 major decision over Crusader Justin Moriarity.

Belmont Abbey won the first three bouts, with Chris Neidermeier decisioning Ian Barker, 5-0; Reimark Neidermeier downing Brent Clausing, 6-4; and Kevin James pinning Riley Pike in only :33.

Limestone, which improves to 11-1 in dual matches, returns to action Jan. 25-26 at the East Coast Dual in Pembroke, N.C.
