Limestone remains winless in conference action

Erskine had to work overtime to beat Limestone 81-80 on Tuesday.

The Saints fall to 0-6 in league play (2-9 overall), while the Flying Fleet pick up their first conference win.

The Saints trailed by 13 at the half and were losing by as much as 17 points in the second half. Limestone fought back to tie the game 73-73 at the end of regulation and send the contest into overtime. The Saints had an 80-78 lead with 30 seconds left in overtime, but Erskine's Nathan Jones hit a three-pointer with 9 seconds left to put the Fleet up 81-80.

Five Limestone players scored in double figures. Andrae Franklin and Andre Coleman each had 16 points.

Shawn Creal added scored 12 points, while Kenny White and Marques Williams both chipped in 10 points.
