Willie Wyatt Willie Claude Wyatt, 90, of 1514 Leadmine Road, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Jan.19, 2008, at Spartanburg Regional Restorative Care. Born in Cherokee County, he was the husband of Inez Pearson Wyatt and son of the late Henry Wyatt and Mae Strickland Wyatt. He was retired from textiles and was a life member of Lafayette Masonic Lodge #330. Mr. Wyatt was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Also surviving are a son, Lloyd Lefoy Wyatt and wife, Su-Hsiang, of San Angelo, Texas; two daughters, Carolyn Camp of Gaffney and Sandra Lipscomb and husband, James, also of Gaffney; a brother, Charles Wyatt of Union City, Ind.; three sisters, Margie Fowler of Gaffney, Alice Pierce of Gaffney and Betty Seay of Boiling Springs; six grandchildren, LeAnne Camp Burroughs and husband, Glenn, of North Myrtle Beach, Lara Camp Glover and husband, Randy, of Landrum, Jamie Lipscomb Jones and husband, Bobby, of Gaffney, David Lipscomb of Gaffney, Christopher Lipscomb and wife, Jennifer, also of Gaffney, and Mark Wyatt of San Angelo, Texas; and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wyatt was preceded in death by four sisters, Lillie Childers, Vinnie Coleman, Fairlene Tedrow and Norma Ward. Graveside services will be held today at 2 p.m. at Frederick Memorial Gardens with Dr. Wofford Caughman Jr. officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southside Baptist Church Family Life Center, 204 West O'Neal St., Gaffney, S.C. 29340. The family will be at the residence.
