Duke ready to start Cliffside construction

      Don Ross, President of the Kiwanis of Gaffney, recently presented a check to Shellie Wylie, Cherokee County Manager for the American Red Cross. Shellie gave the club examples of the disaster services they provide. The disaster prevention training for youth and adults, she feels is very effective.

      The American Red Cross is organizing teams of volunteers who are willing to be trained to be disaster assistance team members. DAR members respond to the scene of a disaster, most often a house fire, and offer Red Cross disaster recovery assistance to victims.
