Parade set for Saturday

The 9th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade will be held Saturday in Gaffney beginning at 10 a.m.

The parade route begins at Thomson Park and ends at Railroad Avenue.

Sponsored by the Cherokee County Branch of the NAACP, the parade honoring the legacy of the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was rescheduled from Jan. 19 due to inclement weather.
