Meals on Wheels hosts 'Shagging at the Shrine'
Iron City Band featured at Jan. 26 fund raiser

Meals on Wheels will host its first Shagging at the Shrine fund raiser at the Cherokee Shrine Club on Saturday, Jan. 26, from 7-11 p.m.

Guests can enjoy shagging, fun, food and fellowship while helping Cherokee County Meals on Wheels at the same time. Free shag lessons will be offered from 7-8 p.m. and the Iron City Band will provide music from 8-11 p.m.

Advance tickets may be picked up at Cherokee County Meals on Wheels Office or at Palmetto Bank on Limestone Street. Advance tickets are $15 per person and $45 a couple. Admission at the door is $30 per person and $50 a couple.
