Local man earns GRI

Grady Waites

The South Carolina Association of REALTORS® has announced that one of its members, Grady Waites, GRI, was recently awarded the Graduate REALTORS ® Institute (GRI) designation by the education division of the association.

Waites received the nationally recognized GRI designation on Dec. 21, 2007, by completing a minimum of 96 classroom hours of real estate instruction with emphasis on topics such as South Carolina laws, risk reduction, professional standards, contracts, financing, technology, pricing property and marketing.

The GRI designation sets the individuals who have attained it apart from other practitioners. The designation indicates to the public that the individual has obtained a professional educational foundation on which to base the services they provide to the public and hold membership in the National Association of REALTORS.
