CORRECTION

The names of a driver and passenger in a Wednesday article about a traffic accident on Highway 198 were inadvertently reversed.

Sandra Lynn McKinney, 23, of Spartanburg, and her passenger, Derrick Elliot, 27, of Blacksburg, told police the vehicle they were in was forced off the road Saturday on Highway 198 by another vehicle that had chased them for several miles.

McKinney and Elliot were treated for injuries at Cleveland Regional Hospital after the incident. The vehicle was forced off the road and rolled down an embankment after it was struck by the other car, according to a police report.
