Mae Sue McCraw Hill Homemaker Mae Sue McCraw Hill, 66, formerly of Gaffney, died Feb. 9, 2008, at Century Care of Cherryville, N.C. Born in Spartanburg, she was the widow of Amos Hill and daughter of the late Andrew Jackson ("A.J") McCraw and the late Elizabeth ("Lizzie") Odell Wadell McCraw. She was a homemaker and member of Northside Baptist Church. Surviving are three sons, David Thomas, Paul Duncan, both of Gaffney, and Eddie Thomas of Grover, N.C.; three daughters, Anne Shehan, Karen Reynolds and Tammy Parris, all of Gaffney; three sisters, Jeanette Emory of Mayo, Frances Huskey of Cowpens and Betty Anderson of Spartanburg; two brothers, Charles McCraw of Pauline and Joe McCraw of Spartanburg; 20 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hill was also preceded in death by two brothers, Albert McCraw and John McCraw, and husband, Herbert Duncan. Visitation will be held today from 12-2 p.m. at Shuford- Hatcher Funeral Home at Frederick Memorial Gardens. Services will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, conducted by Dr. Ed McAbee and the Rev. Kevin Mathis. Burial will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens. Family members are at their respective homes. |
