Andrew Davis had five hits and Derek Hipp and Blair Carson each had three hits to power Anderson to a 17-4 win over Limestone on Tuesday.

The Trojans jumped on top with a run in the first and added six more runs in the third to seize control of the game.

The Trojans shelled Limestone starter Chris Zimmerman for eight hits and five earned runs in only 2 1/3 innings of work.

Greg Dailey, Drew Lydon and Ty Pulsifer each knocked in runs for Limestone, which falls to 4- 3.

Anderson's David Richardson gave up fuor hits and two runs over five innings to pick up the win. Brady Peeler went the final four innings for the Trojans, who improve to 2-7.

The Saints had 10 hits and committed three errors.

Limestone hosts Carson- Newman on Thursday.
