Money for Music

MONEY FOR MUSIC - Peachtree Centre is raising money for a sound system for the residents. According to Linda Spencer, activities director, Peachtree is well on its way to achieving its goal but needs donations from the community. "We regularly hold lunch and cookie sales as well as other fund raisers. We now are asking the citizens of Cherokee County to help us reach our goal." Inside Peachtree's lobby is a plaque that shows the names of people who have given $100 or more. Donations may be brought by the receptionist's desk or main office or can be mailed to Peachtree Centre, 1434 N. Limestone St., Gaffney, S.C. 29340.
