Limestone students begin senior exhibit March 2 in Eastwood Library on campus

The artwork of Limestone College seniors Elana Billings and Jennifer Cox Farrington will be showcased in the A.J. Eastwood Library on March 2-31. A reception will open the show Sunday, March 2, from 1-3:30 p.m.

Billings and Farrington will display their works rendered in a number of different mediums, including oil painting, ceramics and drawing. Major works of Billings include "Evolve" and "On the Road to Diana's." Farrington's major works are "Ruth" and "Tribute to Man."

Billings is a native of Lexington who is majoring in studio art with a concentration in graphic design. She came to Limestone after receiving an associate of arts degree, summa cum laude, from Spartanburg Methodist College.

Farrington is from Boiling Springs, N.C., and is majoring in studio art. She previously owned Moontown Gift Gallery in Shelby. Some of her pieces, depicting her hometown, circa 1945, are already on display at Joe's Place in uptown Shelby.
