Limestone grad, Navy chaplain, returns to campus for visit with professors

US Navy Captain Ed McNamee, a 1978 graduate of Limestone College, returned to campus on Saturday to visit with some of his favorite professors and friends. McNamee recently completed a tour in Japan as the Commander of the USS Kitty Hawk where he oversaw the training, maintenance, and operations of the ship, which has a crew of over 5,000. McNamee is now a Requirements Officer in Washington where he is responsible for the development and fundraising for the Navy's next class of aircraft carriers.

"Limestone was the foundation of my career," said Capt. McNamee. "This College prepared me well."
