William Lee "Billy" Birchfield

SPARTANBURG - William Lee "Billy" Birchfield, 51, of 508 Windrow Terrace, passed away Monday, Feb. 18, 2008, at Regional Hospice House. He was the husband of Den ise Eu- banks Birchfield.

Mr. Birchfield was a native of Cumberland, Md., and a son of Janet Wilt Birchfield of Blacksburg and the late Willie Mack Birchfield. He was an analyst with Timken Corp. and a member of Cudd Memorial Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a son, Alex Birchfield, and a daughter, Paige Birchfield, both of the home; two brothers, David Birchfield of Rock Hill and Bryan Birchfield of Tampa, Fla.

In addition to his father, Mr. Birchfield was predeceased by a sister, Janet Lynn Birchfield.

Visitation will be held today from 6-8 p.m. at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs.

Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Cudd Memorial Baptist Church, conducted by the Revs. Danny Garrett and Ronnie Norris. Interment will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park. Mr. Birchfield will lie in state for one hour prior to the service.
