Sharon Lynette Warlick Byers, 37, of 1022 Buford St., passed away on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2008, at Upstate Carolina Medical Center.

Born in Gastonia, N.C., she was the daughter of Harvey Warlick of Gastonia and Evelyn Bailey Costner and stepdaughter of Ralph Costner, both of Bessemer City, N.C. She was a truck driver and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by two sons, Donavon Ridge Gault and Jonathan Brett Gault, both of Gaffney; two brothers, Dale Warlick of Gastonia and Burt Warlick of Myrtle Beach; and two sisters, Cathy Rushing of Dallas, N.C., and Heather Hill of Bessemer City.

Visitation was held Saturday from 3-4 p.m. at Blakely Funeral Home. A memorial service followed at 4 p.m. in the chapel, conducted by the Rev. Rich Lancaster.

After the service, the family will be at the home of Joey and Hope Gault, 368 Robbs School Road, Gaffney.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to Kirby Memorial Baptist Church, 512 Chandler Drive, Gaffney, S.C. 29340.
