Red Cross classes

¦ The American Red Cross will be offering Adult, Infant and Child CPR along with standard First Aid on Monday and Tuesday nights, March 3 and 4, from 6-10 p.m. The class will be at the Red Cross office at 405 N. Logan St. Pre-registration is required by calling 864-489-6066.

Meetings

¦ The Cherokee Marketing Alliance will hold its monthly meeting Wednesday, March 5, at noon in the private dining room at at Upstate Carolina Medical Center. This well established group of marketing and public relations professionals normally meets on the first Wednesday of each month at the hospital. The meeting is open to anyone in Cherokee County or the surrounding area with concerns in communications, marketing or public relations. Established attendees include Limestone College, City of Gaffney, Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce, Prime Outlets of Gaffney Upstate Carolina Medical Center, and several other forprofit and not-for-profit businesses and agencies. The routine agenda is to professionally network and compare monthly activities and longrange opportunities. The group meets for about an hour, and lunch is provided at no charge. Support groups

¦ AA meetings are held at 8 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday in the building behind Limestone Methodist Church on Carlisle Street. If you have a problem with alcohol, you are welcome to attend.

¦ Narcotics Anonymous meetings are held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Gaffney on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 6 p.m. To contact a member of the local group, call 864-703-4880 (h) or 864-809-5901 (c).
