Limestone men's golf team places 9th in Savannah area tournament The Limestone College men's golf team finished 9th at the Armstrong Atlantic State University/Southbridge Pirate Invitational on Tuesday. The Saints carded a two-round score of 615 (305-310) at the par-72, 6,922 yard Southbridge Golf Club. The 11-team field teed off in a shotgun start at 8 a.m. in a strategy to beat incoming rain showers, and it worked as all players were able to finish just 15 minutes before rain began to fall over the Southbridge Golf Club course. Kyle Parker finished tied for 36th (79-76 155), Brad Williams tied for 41st (76-81 157), and Ben Ross tied for 48th (82-76 158). Kyle Scruggs was 54th (78-86 164).
