Rose Ellen Adler, 77, of 117 Calton Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, at North Greenville Hospital, Travelers Rest.

Born in Canton, Ohio, she was the wife of Donald W. Adler and daughter of the late Adrian Stitz and Katherine Henderson Stitz. Mrs. Adler was previously the co-owner of Spring Valley Golf Course. She was an avid golfer and member of the Hejaz Shrine Club. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

In addition to her husband, she is also survived by a son, Rick Adler, of Gaffney; a sister, Shirley Sands of Gaffney; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Larry Adler.

The family will be at the residence.
