Robert (Robbie) Bolin

BLACKSBURG - Robert (Robbie) Craig Bolin, 22, of 180 Bee's Branch Road, died Tuesday, March 4, 2008, at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare Systems.

A native of Blacksburg, Mr. Bolin was the son of Robert Edward Bolin and Lisa Ann Moss of the home. Mr. Bolin attended Midpines Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Bolin is survived by a brother, Richard Scott Moss Jr. of Blacksburg; a step-brother, Jonathon Humphries of Kings Mountain; a sister, Shandi Lynn Moss of Blacksburg; and his grandmother, Linda Batchler Jenkins Bolin of the home.

Mr. Bolin was preceded in death by his grandfather, Buddy Hoyle Carroll, and his maternal great-grandparents, Roland and Dollie Mae Batchler.

Services will be held Friday, March 7, at 2 p.m. at Midpines Baptist Church in Kings Mountain with the Revs. Bob Hope and Johnny Owens officiating. Interment will follow at Cook Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Bolin will lie in state for 30 minutes prior to the service.

The family hosted a receiving of friends Thursday evening from 6:30-8:30 at Gordon Mortuary.
