Leatha Mae Hardy

Leatha Mae Hardy, 67, of 303 Humphries St., Gaffney, entered into eternal rest at her home Thursday morning, Feb. 28, 2008.

A native of Union County, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Gist and Aurilla Ophelia Wade Gist.

Surviving are three daughters, Robin Wallace, Teresa (Richard) Dowdle and Lori Studyvance, all of Gaffney; four sons, Danny Gist, James Lott, Tony Gist, all of Gaffney, and Robert Hardy of Myrtle Beach; two sisters, Mary Tracy of Pacolet and Eva Reed of Milwaukee, Wisc.; a brother, James Gist of Spartanburg; 15 grandchildren; 21 greatgrandchildren.

Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Ararat First Pentecostal Church. Pastor Dorothy Brewton will officiate. Burial will be in the New Salem Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Pacolet.

The family is at the home, 303 Humphries St., Gaffney.
