Ruby B. Sanderson

GROTON, Conn. - Ruby Belcher Sanderson, 92, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at Groton Regency Elder Care.

A native of Gaffney, she was the widow of Albert N. Sanderson and daughter of the late Charles L. Belcher and Alma Waters Belcher. She was a long-time employee of General Electric in Syracuse, N.Y.

Surviving are a brother, Charles C. Michaels of Gaffney; two sisters, Ruth B. Coyle of Cherryville, N.C., and Montie B. Talbot of Indian Trail, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Sanderson was preceded in death by a sister, Sue Michaels Gregory, and a brother, Arthur E. Belcher.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 8, at 11 a.m. in Frederick Memorial Gardens, conducted by Mr. Ashby Blakely. The family will meet with friends at the graveside after the service.

Family members are at their respective homes.
