Verneller Gardner Brown

Mrs. Verneller Gardner Brown, 93, of Chesnee, died Thursday in Brookview Healthcare Center.

Widow of J.C. Brown, she was born in Spartanburg County, a daughter of the late Walter and Gaither Head Gardner.

She was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church in Chesnee

Surviving is a brother, J.W. Gardner (Rosa) of Chesnee; and two sisters, Mattie Louise Valentine of Gaffney and Gennie Lipscomb of Caroleen, NC.

The family is at the home, 208 Walker St., Chesnee.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, 3:00 p.m., in The Gilmore Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Timothy L. Hunter officiating.

The family will receive friends an hour prior to services in the chapel.

Interment will be in Browns Chapel Cemetery, Chesnee.

The Gilmore Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
