Include alcohol in items that need to be wiped out

Dear Editor:

It's about time to speak about why they are trying to get people to quit using tobacco products by raising the prices a lot.

They are not trying to get people to quit using beer, liquor or wine, which are all addictive.

When you drink alcohol, you can become an alcoholic. You are not in your right mind when you are drunk. I call alcoholic drinks the "Devil's Brew."

Please don't just try to get people to quit tobacco, but do something so that beer, liquor and wine can be wiped out.

Read your Bible and it will tell you a lot about strong drink. The best thing is to never taste it.

When someone becomes an alcoholic, I believe the company they work for should pay for them to get help to get off it.

Don't just try to wipe out tobacco without wiping out alcoholic beverages as well.

Emma Blackwell,

Gaffney, SC
