REV. JOHNNY N. HENDERSON The Rev. Johnny Nathaniel Henderson, 41, of 1285 Fairview Road, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2008, at 3 a.m. at his home. Born June 27, 1966, in Stamford, Conn., he was the husband of Kleesha Graham Henderson and son of Minnie Leach Henderson and the late Nathaniel Johnny Henderson. He graduated from Stamford High School in 1984 and earned a Bachelor of Theology, Honorary Doctor of Divinity, Doctor of Christian Philosophy in Ministry and Theology, a Master's in Ministry and Pastoral Counseling and a Certificate in Marriage Counseling, all from the Institute for Christian Works in Mount Vernon, Wash. At the time of his death, he was writing a book, "The Black Man's Struggle." Rev. Henderson was a member of Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church, where he was an associate minister and director of the Abundant Life Ministry. He was last employed by Newark Electronics. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a son, Johnny Tremaine Henderson of the home; two daughters, Shachia Graham and Lanecia Graham of the home; a brother, Amos Leach of Gaffney; a sister, Angelia Henderson of Morrisville, Pa.; grandparents, Herbert and Elizabeth Leach of Gaffney; and a host of other relatives.
