Lucille Teague Hattie Lucille Allison Teague, 83, of 3012 Cherokee Ave., went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 17, 2008, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born in Cherokee County, she was widow of Loy (Shorty) Teague and daughter of the late Andrew Allison and Ethel Bailey Allison. She was a homemaker and member of Calvary Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, Michael Teague of the home; two daughters, Debbie Short and husband, David, of Gaffney and Ann Cheatham of Dyersburg, Tenn.; a brother, Jay Allison and wife, Jeanette, of Cowpens; three sisters, Frances Martin and husband, Piney, of Gaffney, Vera Moss and husband, Earl, of Kings Mountain, N.C., and Connie McCraw and husband, Garrison, of Mooresboro, N.C.; a sister-in-law, Modene Allison of Gaffney; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Teague was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Allison. Graveside services will be held Friday, April 18, at 1 p.m. in Frederick Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Terry Pleasant. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, S.C. 29303. Family members are at their respective homes.
