Nathaniel Resper Jr.
10th grade student at Gaffney High School

Nathaniel Resper Jr., 16, of 115 N. Logan St., passed away Saturday, April 19, 2008, at 10:50 a.m. at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Born June 28, 1991, i n Prince Georges County, Md., he was the son of Nathaniel Resper Sr. of Washington, D.C., and Janet Smith of the home. He was a 10th grade student at Gaffney High School, where he as a member of the dance group, Looney Tunes.

Nathaniel was preceded in death by three uncles, William McLean, Montey Fullard and Phillips Smith.

Surviving in addition to his parents are two brothers, Aramini Smith and Zachery Smith, both of the home; a sister, Britany Smith of the home; stepfather, Wesley Satterwhite of the home; paternal grandmother, Linda McLean; two aunts, Georgia Fullard of Forest City, N.C., and Shawneta Resper of Washington, DC.; five uncles, Wayman Smith, Jasper Chatman (Dorrie) and Aaron Reynolds, all of Washington, D.C., Joseph Barnes of Urban Crest, Ohio, and Richard Fullard of Atlanta, Ga.; a nephew, Isiah Cohens; a special cousin, Howard Fullard; and a host of other relatives and friends.
