Arthur Ray Littlejohn

Arthur Ray Littlejohn, Sr., 56, of 202 Cherry St., died Tuesday, April 22, 2008, in Upstate Carolina Medical Center.

Husband of Shirley Love Littlejohn, he was born in Gaffney, a son of the late Nesbitt Littlejohn, Sr. and the late Katherine Black Littlejohn.

He was a member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Also surviving are his son, Arthur Ray Littlejohn, Jr. of Spindale, N.C.; two daughters, Bridgett Nicole Simons of Spartanburg and Dora Littlejohn of Spindale; stepchildren, Audrey Silver, John Charles Oglesby, Jr., Nikki Simpson (Lance), and David Christopher Love (Debra); a sister, Carolyn Littlejohn Davidson of Gaffney; four brothers, James Littlejohn (Virginia) of Chesapeake, VA, Arthur Ray Littlejohn, Sr. (Shirley, Kenneth Dewayne Littlejohn and Wilbert Littlejohn (Stephanie), all of Gaffney; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Funeral Services will be Friday, at 4 p.m.. at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church with the Rev. C.A. Wallace officiating.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The body will be in the church Friday at 3:00 p.m.
