William Ike ("Little Bill") Allison, 53, of 354 College Drive, died Friday, April 25, 2008, at his home.

Born in Gaston County, N.C., on Sep. 6, 1954. He was employed by Bonitz Construction Company, where he was a drywall finisher.

Mr. Allison was preceded in death by his parents William Hicks Allison and Mattie May Allison, and a sister, Ethel Elizabeth Barrett.

Mr. Allison is survived by his wife, Susan White Allison of Gaffney; a daughter, Nicole Allison of Shelby; a brother, Ray Allison of Mooresboro; two sisters, Judy Walker of Shelby and Ann Lovelace of Forest City; nephews, Justin Allison, Joshua Allison, Donald Humphries and Kyle Buckheister; and nieces, Kim Trubucco, Cara Irvin, Abby Beatty, Brittany Buckheister and Angie Walker.

A memorial service will be held Monday, April 28, at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel, 2518 W. Dixon Blvd., Shelby, conducted by the Rev. Justin Allison. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-6 p.m. prior to the service.

Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Foundation.

The family is at the home of his brother, Ray Allison, 2420 McCraw Road, Mooresboro, N.C.
