Dustin Taylor Adams BOILING SPRINGS - Dustin Taylor Adams, 18, of 108 Wells Drive, died Tuesday, May 6, 2008. Born Sept. 28, 1989, in Spartanburg, he was the son of Boyce Eugene and Gail Spencer Adams. A 2007 graduate of Boiling Springs High School, he attended Spartanburg Methodist College and was employed by United Parcel Service. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church of North Spartanburg, where he had participated in three Nicaragua mission trips. He was an Eagle Scout with Boy Scout Troop 9, and loved golf, baseball, basketball and "cutting up" on jet skis. Surviving in addition to his parents are his maternal grandparents, Jack and Edna Spencer of Cowpens; paternal grandmother, Ethel Adams of Moore; maternal great-grandmother, Polly Clary of Cowpens; a number of aunts, uncles and cousins; and a world full of friends. Services will be held Friday, May 9, at 4 p.m. at First Baptist Church of North Spartanburg, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Michael S. Hamlet and the Rev. Bill Bateman. Burial will be in Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens. Visitation was held Thursday, May 8, from 6-8 p.m. at First Baptist Church of North Spartanburg. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of North Spartanburg for Missions, 8740 Asheville Hwy., Spartanburg, S.C. 29316; or to Chosen Children Ministries, 9420 Asheville Hwy., Inman, S.C. 29349.
