GREENVILLE - Judy Gail Scruggs Thompson, 59, of 1403 Bramlett Road, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of Charles Warren Thompson and daughter of the late John Scruggs and Dorothy Collins Scruggs. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by a son, Loy Proctor Jr. of Gaffney; a daughter, Lori Rollins of Gaffney; a brother, John Scruggs of Florida; two sisters, Linda Sprouse and Joyce Cody, both of Gaffney; and two grandchildren, Alicia Rollins and Jordan Proctor.

The family will receive friends Friday, May 9, from 1-2 p.m. at Blakely Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel, conducted by the Rev. Mike Proctor.
