Saints golfers conclude play at regional

Saint golfers Brad Williams and Craig Parris finished competition at the three-round NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional on Wednesday at the par-72 Point Lake Golf Club.

Brad Williams finished tied for 18th while Craig Parris tied for 34th.

Williams carded 231 (81- 77-73). Parris had a threeround score of 241 (78-81- 82).

The top team from each region within the Atlantic/Southeast super regional and the top individual not with a team from each super regional (regardless of region) advanced to the finals May 14-17 at the Division II Spring National Championships Festival in Houston, Texas.

The finals will be hosted by Rice University and the Harris County-Houston Sports Authority.

Brad Robinson of Carson- Newman was the individual qualifier from the Atlantic/Southeast super regional with a three-round score of 213 (71-72-70). He finished second in the Southeast region.
