Edna M. Messer

Edna M. Messer, 56, wife of David Messer, of 308 Hickory St.,died Tu e s d a y, June 3, 2008, at 2:58 a.m., at Upstate Carolina Medical Center.

A native of Cherokee County, she was the daughter of the late Claude Leroy Littlejohn and the late Theodosia Knuckles Littlejohn. She was a member of Gowdyesville Baptist Church and attended Restoration Church. She was a graduate of Gaffney High School.

She is survived by her husband, David Messer; two sons, Robert Harold Jefferies Jr. and Haskell Jefferies, both of Gaffney; two daughters, Connie Muldrow and Gwendolyn Jefferies, both of Gaffney; three brothers, Walter Lee Littlejohn, Clarence H. Littlejohn and Sammie M. Littlejohn, all of Gaffney; eight sisters, Rebecca Littlejohn, Linda G. Littlejohn, Sylvia L. Littlejohn, Nance L. Hopper, Althea T. Miller, Marilyn L. Wagner, Zelda C. Littlejohn and Michelle G. Littlejohn, all of Gaffney; 11 grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
