Knowles offers appreciation to those who supported him To the people of Cherokee County: I would like to personally thank all of you in Cherokee County who have supported my wife and me in our difficult circumstances these past couple of years. Whether it is through prayers or words of encouragement, I thank you for rallying to the cause. Believe me when I say I will truly miss the relationships that were forged over the past twelve years with the district; however, I do hope that I am leaving a better working environment for each and every one of you. Sometimes change comes at a costly price and sacrifices made for the greater good. If I have learned anything over the past few years, it is to voice your concerns openly and honestly. Your opinions of public concern are protected. I suggest speaking by casting your votes in the upcoming school board elections. Thank you again Cherokee County. Purification will continue with your votes.
Also, as the spouse of an elected official, I was curious about upcoming stump meetings for the August elections. I haven't heard anything about any meetings coming up where we can learn the views of those running for office. If there are any scheduled, could you run a list of the dates, times, and locations? It's always best to make an educated vote and I hope that all of those running in August will be open to meeting in a public forum to let us know where they stand on the latest issues. I hope that all registered voters will get out and get informed and, most of all, get out and vote. |
