Manuel Price

COWPENS - Manuel Connell Price, 63, of 3126 Battleground Road, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2008, at his residence.

Born in Cherokee County, he was the husband of Billie Pritchard Price and son of the late Willie Price and Millie Yelton Price. He was employed by NAPA in Chesnee and was retired owner/operator of Prices Parts and Equipment. Mr. Price was a member of New Pleasant Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters, Kim Belue and husband, Rev. Shane, Paula Spencer and husband, Kelly, and Heather Price and fiance', Bobby Hames, all of Cowpens; a sister, Barbara Thorne and husband, Perry, of Chesnee; five grandchildren, Leah Belue, Jonah Belue, Connor Price, Bailey Price and Addison Price.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Price was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Price.

Graveside services will be held Monday, Aug. 18, at 2 p.m. at New Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Fae Walker, the Rev. Shane Belue and Mr. Jesse Sprinkle III officiating.

Visitation was held Sunday, Aug. 17, from 6-8 p.m. at Blakely Funeral Home.
