The church was adorned with arrangements of blue and white roses, baby's breath, ferns trimmed with lace, ficus trees aglow with twinkling lights, carnations, daisies, magnolia, ivy and long-stemmed stephanotis. Three arches, candelabra and candle holders complemented the setting.
Escorted and given in marriage by her brother, Robert P. Wilkie of Baltimore, Md., the bride was attired in an ivory gown that was embellished with a beaded lace overlay and long bell sleeves. The princess-style gown was highlighted with a front and back vee neckline and chapel train. Her three-layer waltz-length veil of illusion was studded with pearls and crystals. She carried a bouquet of blue and white roses enhanced with ivy and flowing white ribbon streamers trimmed with pearls.
Alma J. Sarratt of Gaffney was the bride's matron of honor.
