Credit union announces opening of Gaffney office

Cherokee County resident Josh Phillips takes a bite of some popcorn Tuesday during the grand opening of Founders Federal Credit Union's branch on Hyatt Street. It is the credit union's eighth location in the Upstate, joining others in Spartanburg and Laurens. According to Founders Region Three Vice President Lloyd Vail, it was an opportunity the organization could not refuse.
Founders Federal Credit Union proudly announces the opening of its Gaffney office. The office, which is located in Gaffney, opened in June.

The Gaffney office is the first office Founders has opened in Cherokee County. Founders Federal Credit Union now has 25 offices and 3 service centers in North and South Carolina, 170,000 members and over $1.5 billion in assets.

The addition of the new office allows Founders to better serve its members in Cherokee County and the surrounding areas. "This expansion has long been a part of our strategic plan," said Bruce Brumfield, President and CEO of Founders Federal Credit Union. "We have seen tremendous growth in the Gaffney area, and we welcome the opportunity to continually serve our members in their community."

Available to members are a wide variety of products and services including, free Checking, great Savings Rates, free Visa Debit Cards, Platinum Visa or Mastercard, free Founders Online, eLending, Bill Pay, Call 24 account access by phone, Investment Services and Insurance Services.
