Kathryn Cook
Retired from Oxford Ind.

Kathryn Fleming Cook, 86, of 2838 Pacolet Hwy., went home to be with the Lord on Wednes- day, Sept. 17, 2008, at Peachtree Centre.

Born in Spartan- burg, she was the widow of Harshall Smith Cook and daughter of the late William Francis Fleming and Carrie Motts Fleming. She was retired from Oxford Industries and was a member of Goucher Baptist Church. She was lovingly devoted to her family and her church.

She is survived by a son, William Smith (Smitty) Cook and wife, Shelba, of Gaffney; a daughter, Marsha Tolson and husband, Emmett, of Sumter; four grandchildren, Karen Timmons and husband, Todd, Angie Sistare and husband, Dale, Allison Welch and husband, Al, and Julia Shuler and husband, Kyle; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends on Friday, Sept.19, from 2-3 p.m. at Blakely Funeral Home. Services will immediately follow at 3 p.m. in Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Norman Gardner and Jason Patterson officiating. Entombment will be at Frederick Memorial Gardens.

The family is at the home of Smitty and Shelba Cook, 524 Old Pro's Drive, Gaffney.
