Hazel Mae Coleman Spencer of 910 Bonner Lake Road went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008, at her residence.

Born in Gaffney, she was the loving and devoted wife of Andy Spencer for 53 years and the daughter of the late Herb Coleman and Bennie Wyatt Coleman. Mrs. Spencer was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her husband, surviving are a son, Andy E. Spencer and wife, Donna, of Gaffney; a daughter, Susan Annette Spencer of Clinton; two grandchildren, Kevin Spencer and wife, Sheena, and Joni Spencer Snider and husband, James; and three great- grandchildren, Destiny Snider, Christian Snider and Sheldon Snider.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 24, at 2 p.m. at Frederick Memorial Gardens with Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, Sept. 23, from 6-8 p.m. at Blakely Funeral Home.
