Jack W. Fowler Jack Wilson Fowler, 76, formerly of 114 Dean Street, Cowpens, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008, at Brookview Healthcare. Born in Cowpens, he was the widower of Mildred B. Fowler and son of the late W. T. Fowler and Janie Arrowood Fowler. Mr. Fowler retired from Best Machinery and was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. He was a member of Love Springs Baptist Church.He is survived by two sons, Bobby Fowler of Lafayette, Tenn., and Butch Fowler and wife, Susan, of Gaffney; a daughter, Mary Jane Huntsinger and husband, Bobby, of Cowpens; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; four brothers, Leroy Fowler and Jimmy Fowler of Gaffney, George Fowler and Harold Fowler of Cowpens; and four sisters, Annie Sprouse and Lucille Peahuff of Cowpens, Sara Hutchins of Spartanburg and Geneva Smith of Gaffney. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Fowler was preceded in death by a grandson, Brandon Fowler; three brothers, Charlie Fowler, Will Fowler and Oliver Fowler; and a sister, Margaret Cash. The family will receive friends Friday, Nov. 28, from 10-11 a.m. at Love Springs Baptist Church. Services will immediately follow at 11 a.m. at the church with the Revs. Billy Millwood, Tommy Wright and Bruce Randolph officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
