BLACKSBURG - Jessie Mae Parker Foster, 95, died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2008, in Upstate Carolina Medical Center.

Widow of Lee Foster, she was born in Hickory Grove, a daughter of the late Thomas and Mattie Lowe Parker. She was a member and Honorary Mother of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church.

Surviving are a sister, Ola Parker Howell, of Hickory Grove and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be Wednesday, Dec. 3, at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church with the Rev. Darrell W. Smith officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

The family is at the home of her niece, Janice Parker, 343 Wilbur St., Blacksburg.
