Fulfilling our Mission and Shelter Operations: Either date: Saturday, Jan. 10, or Tuesday, Jan. 20; both classes from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. This free class prepares individuals to assist the Red Cross to provide emergency assistance inside a shelter. The training is a requirement for anyone who wishes to work in a shelter.

One hundred percent of the course fees go to support disaster services in Cherokee County. The American Red Cross has a core of welltrained, committed volunteer instructors to serve the community.

All classes will be at the ARC Service Center at 405 N. Logan St. Pre-registration and pre-payment is required. To register, call 864-489-6066 or go by the ARC office Monday through Friday 8 a.m. -3 p.m.
