      The Rev. Grady H. Pierce, 73, of Broken Arrow, Okla, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Dec. 19, 2008. Services were held Monday, Dec. 22, in Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow, with interment in the Floral Haven Garden of Prayer.

Son of the late Pryor Thomas and the late Mary Wilkins Thomas, he was born on May 27, 1921, in Cherokee County.

Born in Blacksburg, he was the husband of Elizabeth Rippy Hannon and son of Pauline Goforth Hannon and the late Marshall Neal Hannon. He retired from Hoechst Celanese on Feb. 26, 1998, after 30 years of perfect attendance.
