 NEW YEAR'S BABY — A Spartanburg couple celebrated New Year's Day with the arrival of Cherokee County's first baby of 2009. Bryanna Rae Ellis was born at 4:30 a.m. on New Year's Day at Upstate Carolina Medical Center. She weighed 7 pounds and 8 ounces and was delivered by certified nurse midwife Laurie Hill. Bryanna is the daughter of Bryan and Casey Ellis of Spartanburg. The couple has two sons, Jaden Ellis, 4, and Chase Hall, 5. |
