T he L'Etoile Club will hold its 55th winter formal dance on Saturday, Jan. 10. A highlight of the club's year, the dance will be at Broad River Electric Corporation. Festivities begin at 8 p.m. and continue until midnight. The organization's 24 members will be introduced at 8:15 p.m. by Dennis Fowler, Cherokee County Coroner, who will serve as Master of Ceremonies.

At the conclusion of the dance, members and their escorts will enjoy a breakfast at Broad River Electric Corporation hosted by the parents of the members.

The L'Etoile Club is dedicated to community service. The members organize and participate in individual monthly service hours and group service projects. Fundraisers are also organized, and the money raised is donated to various charities at the end of the club's year. Admission fees collected at the dance will also be distributed to charities.
