Oscar (Bobo) Pritchard
Employed by Cherokee Finishing
Oscar Luther Pritchard, 53, of 308 Jackson St., went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Jan. 4, 2009, at Upstate Carolina Medical Center. Born in Gaffney, he was the son of the late Lawrence Albert Pritchard and Violet Patterson Pritchard. He was employed by Cherokee Finishing and was of the Presbyterian faith. Surviving are a son, Daniel Pritchard of Gaffney; a brother, Lawrence Pritchard of Gaffney; two sisters, Virginia Campbell and Judy Hill and husband, Terry, all of Gaffney; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Pritchard was preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Thomas. The family will receive friends Wednesday, Jan. 7, from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at Blakely Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m. in Oakland Cemetery with Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating. The family is at the home of Louzetta Hill, 305 W.
