Earl - Chevalier

Katie Lea Earl and Thomas J. Chevalier IV Ronnie and Karen Earl of Polkville, N.C., announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Lea, to Thomas Joseph (T.J.) Chevalier IV of Gaffney.

The couple will be married Saturday, Jan. 24, at 3 p.m. in Gatlinburg, Tenn.

Miss Earls' grandparents are Lillie and Wayne Earl of Polkville, Pansy Cook Earl of Fort Mill, the late Clarence Bumgardner and the late Johnny Earl. A 2006 graduate of Burns High School, she attended Cleveland Community College and is employed by Interim Healthcare as a CNA.

Mr. Chevalier's parents are Deborah Hughey and Danny Hughey of Gaffney and Thomas Joseph Chevalier III of Spartanburg. His grandparents are Mary Haynes of Columbia, the late Robert Haynes and the late Elizabeth Marion. He graduated in 2004 from Gaffney High School and attended Limestone College and Spartanburg Technical College. Employed by Hamrick Mills in Gaffney, he is enlisted in the United States Marine Corp.
