GREENVILLE - The 2009 Miss Upstate and Miss Greater Carolina Teen Pageant will be held Saturday, Jan. 17, at 7 p.m. in Greenville High School Auditorium. Miss contestants must be 17 years old and at least a senior in high school; Teen contestants must be between 13-17 years old and no more than a junior in high school.

Two young women will win the titles of Miss Upstate and Miss Greater Carolina and will compete in July for the title of Miss South Carolina; and two young women will also capture the titles of Miss Upstate Teen and Miss Greater Carolina Teen and will compete in July for the title of Miss South Carolina Teen.
